I Will Veto the Foreign Agents Law, Says President of Georgia
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has announced that she will veto the foreign agents bill if it is adopted in three readings. "I will veto this law (on foreign agents), just as I do with other laws that contradict the strategy and recommendations of the European Union," Zurabishvili stated in an interview with the BBC.
It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that the Georgian Parliament had approved the "Law on Foreign Influence" in the first reading.
