Stoltenberg Calls on Allies to Increase Funding for More Aid to Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made a statement on his microblog on 'X' after a conversation with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, urging allies to allocate more funds to provide Ukraine with a greater quantity of ammunition and air defense systems.
“We had a good phone conversation with Klaus Iohannis regarding support for Ukraine. I call on all allies to contribute more financial resources to ensure a larger supply of ammunition and air defense systems for Ukraine. Romania plays a key role in defending NATO's eastern flank and is committed to supporting Ukraine,” Stoltenberg wrote.
