“An important and effective conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Thank you to the chancellor for the decision to supply Ukraine with an additional Patriot system and missiles for air defense systems. Thank you, Olaf, for your leadership. This is a true manifestation of support for Ukraine at a critical moment,” he stated.

The head of state also called on the leaders of partner countries to follow Germany's example.

Zelensky also mentioned that he discussed the preparation for the upcoming URC2024 recovery conference, which will take place in Berlin, and spoke about the preparation for the peace summit scheduled to be held in Switzerland in June.

“Thank you to the chancellor for his readiness to make the summit as successful as possible,” the president added.
