Representatives of Armenia's General Staff Did Not Attend CSTO Military Council Meeting
Today, the 23rd meeting of the Military Council on developing military cooperation among CSTO member states was held under the leadership of the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General Valery Gerasimov. Notably, representatives from Armenia's General Staff did not participate in the meeting. This was reported by Valery Gerasimov after the session.
The meeting was attended by delegations from the armed forces of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, as well as representatives from the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat. During the meeting, the military challenges and threats to security in CSTO member countries were discussed.
According to Gerasimov, military leaders from CSTO countries agreed to incorporate advanced combat experience into the practical training of CSTO forces. He emphasized that the meeting of the CSTO Military Committee took place in a practical and constructive atmosphere, and the outcomes will contribute to the prompt development and strengthening of military security.
