15-Year-Old Accidentally Shoots Himself with Airgun

According to Shamshyan.com, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region on April 6. Around 4:30 PM, operational information was received at the Ashtarak division of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs that a child with a gunshot wound had been transferred to the Ashtarak Medical Center.

The site reports that the injured individual is 15-year-old M.G., a resident of one of the villages in the Aragatsotn region. On the same day, around 4:00 PM, while cleaning the dirt off an airgun titled 'Tir' that was placed under a tree in their home garden, M.G. accidentally shot himself in the right thumb, sustaining a bodily injury.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
