State of Emergency Declared at Federal Level in Orenburg Region
In the Orenburg region, a state of emergency has been declared at the federal level.
It has previously been reported that all schools in Orsk have transitioned to remote learning, and operations at the Orsk Oil Refinery have been halted.
Meanwhile, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Kurenkov, assessed the situation in the region as extreme and suggested temporarily prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages in flooded areas and preventing the rise in food prices.
