Netanyahu Outlines Conditions for Ceasefire in Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will not be established without the release of hostages held by Hamas. This was reported by TASS.
“I have made it clear to the international community that there will be no ceasefire without the return of the hostages. This is the policy of the Israeli government, and I welcome the fact that the Biden administration recently conveyed that it continues to adhere to the same position,” Netanyahu said.
According to him, it is not Israel preventing the exchange of hostages and a ceasefire deal, but rather Hamas.
