Hezbollah Fires Dozens of Missiles at Israeli Targets
On Sunday, the Lebanese group Hezbollah announced that it had fired dozens of missiles at Israeli targets in the Golan Heights.
“Hezbollah has stated that it launched dozens of Katyusha rockets targeting aerial force-related sites as well as missile defense centers,” Press TV reports.
Regional media outlets, in turn, report that, according to incoming data, the Lebanese group has fired approximately 40 rockets. No information has been disclosed regarding the results of the attacks.
The group’s statement claims that the missiles were launched in response to Israeli strikes in the Bekaa Valley, located about 30 kilometers east of Beirut. Earlier, Israeli military sources reported that airstrikes were conducted on Hezbollah facilities on Sunday.
