Houses Buried Under Snow in a Village of Kars Province Due to Heavy Snowfall
In the village of Gyolbash, located in the Susuz district of Kars province, the houses of residents have been buried under snow due to heavy snowfall and blizzards. This information was reported by Ermenihaber.
Several roads have become impassable, with snow depths reaching up to 2 meters.
"We were looking forward to spring, but winter has come again," said local residents.
The temperature has dropped to minus 7 degrees, while precipitation continues intermittently in higher altitude areas.
Snowplowing efforts have been undertaken on the blocked roads, and access has been restored with the assistance of rescue teams.
