About 40 Drones Destroyed in the Skies Over Crimea: What’s the Situation Right Now

The anti-aircraft defense systems have shot down 38 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Crimea. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry via Telegram. The attack attempt was made at night by a plane-type drone. No information about casualties or damages has been provided.

Traffic on the Tavrida highway has been restricted in the area of the city of Theodosia in Crimea. Local authorities have not specified the reason. A detour has been temporarily organized on a stretch of the highway measuring 89 kilometers.

Rail transport continues to operate as normal, reported Nikolai Lukashenko, the regional transportation minister. Traffic on the Crimea Bridge has been temporarily suspended. The announcement about the restriction was published on Telegram at 3:41 AM. Lukashenko stated that the bridge was reopened at 5:41 AM.
