Attention: Drivers Must Wear Seatbelts While Traveling – Enforcement Will Be Strengthened, Ministry of Internal Affairs
The safety of road traffic is one of the primary goals of the police activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and various measures are regularly undertaken to achieve this objective. Statistics force us to be particularly diligent.
One of the best ways to prevent the severe consequences of accidents is the seatbelt, the culture of which has not yet become a lifestyle for some segments of our society, despite the active awareness and enforcement efforts of the police.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges and warns all drivers and passengers to wear their seatbelts while traveling. Enforcement will be tightened, and periodic measures will be implemented in this direction, including increased services.
If, in the near future, drivers and passengers do not unconditionally follow the regulations regarding the use of seatbelts, surveillance devices will also be used to detect violations, ensuring the unavoidable accountability of all offenders.
The police encourage everyone to be law-abiding and conscientious and wish safe travels.
