In 2024, We Will Implement a 30% Salary Revision in Kindergartens, Avinyan

The public education sector is constantly in the spotlight. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a regulatory council meeting at the municipality.

“We have made some financial revisions in various sectors of public education, and there have been specific results in schools, universities, and research funding has increased by about four times. One of the unresolved areas has been the level of our financial compensation in kindergartens. I would like to inform you that in 2024, we will implement a salary revision of about 30% for caregivers and directors in Yerevan. Of course, 30% is not the amount that these individuals deserve in terms of reevaluation, but this is just the beginning. I am confident that the process of our reforms will continue,” said the mayor.
