Zelensky Does Not Consider Delay in US Aid a Betrayal
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, does not perceive the situation surrounding the $60 billion aid package in the US Congress as a betrayal. At the same time, he has deemed the aid package from the US as vital.
“Do I think this is a betrayal? No, because I do not believe our strategic partner can afford to not support Ukraine. I do not see an opportunity for a strategic partner to take such a position. We are witnessing challenges—electoral and political—but I do not want to comment on them, as they are part of the internal processes of the United States. However, I expect the allied position to remain steadfast,” Zelensky said.
