VIDEO. Warm Airflows Will Penetrate the Country: Gagik Surenyans on Weather
Starting from February 4, warm airflows will penetrate our country from the southwest. This was stated by Gagik Surenyans, the deputy director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, during a meeting with reporters.
“Until February 4, mainly dry weather will prevail in the republic. On February 5, precipitation is expected in some mountainous regions, and on the night of February 5 to 6, as well as the early morning hours, precipitation will occur in most regions. After noon on February 6, precipitation will cease across the republic, and from February 7, dry weather will be reinstated,” Surenyans mentioned.
“On the day of February 7, we will record temperatures up to 12 degrees in the Ararat Plain, up to 10-12 degrees in Yerevan, and in the valleys of Syunik, the temperature will reach up to 16 degrees, with some areas seeing temperatures up to 20 degrees,” he added.
According to him, a rise in air temperature is expected across the republic by 10-12 degrees. On February 5 and 6, strong winds are expected. For more details, watch the video.
