Snowfall in Certain Regions

As of January 29 at 10:50 AM, snowfall has been reported in the regions of Ashtarak, Talin, Ani, Abovyan, and Hrazdan. This was announced by the Road Department.

There are patches of black ice on the roads in Ashtarak, Abovyan, Sisian, Artik, and Aparan regions. The Vanadzor-Dilijan road is impassable for vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for vehicles with trailers.

It is reported that all interstate and national significance roads are open. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and salt-sand treatment on the roads. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
