Are There Armenians Among the Victims of the Israeli Strike on the Outskirts of Damascus? Pogikyan Responds
There are no Armenians among the casualties and injured as a result of the Israeli strike on the Iranian advisory center located on the outskirts of Damascus. This was stated in an interview with Sputnik Armenia by Zarmik Pogikyan, the editor-in-chief of the 'Gandzasar' newspaper from Aleppo.
“According to my information, there are no Armenians among the injured or dead. Syrian media have already reported that there are casualties and injuries. The southern districts of Damascus are not populated by Armenians,” he said in the interview.
Pogikyan also emphasized that Israel regularly strikes the outskirts of Damascus.
It should be noted that Tasnim News reported earlier that two people have died as a result of the strike, and there are wounded.
