Andreasian Discusses Meeting with Artsakh Judges
The chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Karen Andreasian, has denied claims made in an article that suggested he has not addressed the issues faced by judges from Artsakh.
Andreasian stated on his Facebook page: "I deny this. It is a shameful lie. Even yellow journalism would not stoop to such falsehoods. I generally do not respond to the numerous fabrications published about me, but this is a different case, as it concerns very painful issues for all of us, particularly for the people of Artsakh. What was true in this article about my involvement is that I indeed met with my colleagues from Artsakh. I sincerely presented our capacities and capabilities. Regarding the raised issues concerning pensions and other social matters, I mentioned that these matters depend on other officials. I promised to convey the problems and solutions to those officials, and I have done so. We have started to address employment issues within our system, yet legal challenges have emerged, as mentioned in the same article full of lies. I request that at least the topics that are above any unscrupulous manipulation not be politicized."
