Ukraine Will Definitely Receive Frozen Russian Assets, Kuleba Says
Ukraine will definitely receive frozen Russian assets to restore its economy, stated Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with El Pais.
“This will happen 100%, the question is at what scale. There are three elements: the frozen assets themselves, the income generated from them, and the taxes on that income. The frozen assets are enough to cover over 80% of our recovery needs. We will be able to rebuild schools, hospitals, and infrastructure at the expense of the country that destroyed them,” said the Foreign Minister.
Kuleba hopes that the funds will be available by the end of the war.
