Blinken’s Statement After Meeting with Netanyahu
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to the Middle East. Blinken made a post on X social media platform (formerly Twitter).
During the meeting, he reaffirmed the Jewish state’s right to self-defense following the October 7 Hamas attacks. “I also emphasized the importance of minimizing harm to civilians, protecting civilian infrastructure, and ensuring the distribution of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip,” wrote the US Secretary of State.
