This Year Will Not Be Easy, Says Lukashenko
This year will not be easy, and preparations should be made ahead of the presidential elections in Belarus, which will take place in 2025. This statement was made by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
On Christmas Day, Lukashenko visited the St. John the Baptist Church located near Minsk. At the same time, the President of Belarus called on the youth to show what the older generation experienced after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
“We are on the brink of generational change, when everything that has been done—good or bad—needs to be passed on to the younger generation, to our children. This year will be very difficult; we need to prepare, we must survive,” said Lukashenko.
