VIDEO: Andreasyan on the Cancellation of QR Codes in Textbooks
There is no issue regarding the cancellation of QR codes in textbooks, as they are a crucial technology that should be actively used in modern educational materials. The only concern is that there should be procedures in place from a safety perspective.
This was stated by the Minister of Education, Science, Sports, and Culture Zhanan Andreasyan during a briefing with reporters after a government meeting, in response to whether the ministry might abandon the use of QR codes in textbooks.
He revealed that discussions have been held with textbook authors and that a decision has been made on this matter. “In the near future, we will adopt an approach where all these materials will be transferred to a separate domain of the education management information system, where their protection and oversight will be carried out by the ministry,” he elaborated.
