Ararat Mirzoyan Announces He Will Not Attend Upcoming CSTO Meeting
On November 21, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik at the initiative of the Belarusian side, as reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the conversation, the two officials exchanged views on the Armenian-Belarusian bilateral agenda. They also addressed issues related to the operations of the CSTO. Ararat Mirzoyan stated that he would be unable to participate in the CSTO Foreign Ministers Council, the Defense Ministers Council, and the Joint Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils scheduled for November 22 in Minsk.
