We Continue the Process of Normalizing Relations with Armenia: Turkish Foreign Ministry
The Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan addressed the South Caucasus during his speech in the Turkish Parliament while discussing the 2024 budget. According to Ermenihaber.am, he stated, “We have continued our solidarity with Azerbaijan in every sense and with the slogan ‘one nation, two states.’ By putting an end to the 30-year occupation, peace has been ensured in the South Caucasus. We continue the process of normalizing relations with Armenia in coordination with Azerbaijan.”
The minister also reiterated Turkey's and Azerbaijan's demands that “Armenia should respond to the proposed peace agreement from Azerbaijan with a corresponding constructive approach.” Fidan emphasized that Turkey and Azerbaijan are working in complete solidarity.
