This Will Be Their Biggest Mistake: Netanyahu on War Against Hezbollah
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the Israel Defense Forces to prepare for any scenario, should the conflict with Hezbollah in the north escalate. This was reported by РИА Новости.
“Right now, there is a strong exchange of blows happening in the north. We are striking Hezbollah, but my instructions to the Israel Defense Forces are to prepare for any scenario. I suggest that Hezbollah not test the State of Israel, as this will be their biggest mistake,” Netanyahu stated during a meeting with the leaders of northern municipalities.
On October 7, Israel faced an unprecedented missile attack from the Gaza Strip as part of the operation called “Al-Aqsa Flood,” declared by the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement. Following this, militants entered southern Israeli border areas, opening fire on both military personnel and civilians, and taking hostage more than 200 individuals.
According to the latest data from Israeli authorities, about 1,200 people have died, a figure that includes civilians, military personnel, foreign citizens, and workers. It has also been reported that over 5,000 people have been injured.
