Peskov on the Death of a Georgian Citizen
The Kremlin has no information about the death of a Georgian citizen near the border with South Ossetia, stated Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia. According to him, cited by TASS, he has no information regarding this issue.
“No, I have no information on this matter; there is no information,” said Peskov.
On the previous day, the State Security Service of Georgia reported that a Georgian citizen died during detention near the village of Kirbali in the Gori district, which borders South Ossetia, and another individual has been detained.
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili immediately called on the international community to condemn Russia.
