Air raid sirens have once again sounded in central Israel, marking the first alert in Tel Aviv in three days, reports a correspondent from РИА Новости.

The "Iron Dome" air defense system has been activated in the skies over Tel Aviv and its suburbs, with explosions characteristic of intercepting missiles heard.

According to the Israeli Tzeva Adom rocket warning system, the alert has been triggered across nearly the entire area of the Tel Aviv metropolitan region, as well as in the city of Rishon Lezion, located south of Tel Aviv.

At this time, there are no reports of missile destruction or potential casualties.
