I Cannot Imagine Armenia’s Future Without CSTO: Former Secretary General
The former Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolai Bordyuzha, does not see a reason for Armenia to exit the CSTO.
“We have very good relations with many political forces in Armenia, so in my opinion, these are temporary phenomena, but nevertheless, Armenia will be with Russia, Belarus, and the CSTO,” said Bordyuzha.
“I cannot imagine Armenia’s future without the CSTO; I simply cannot envision this future, given that Armenia is so integrated with Russia, not only economically, as a huge number of Armenians live in Russia—about several million,” the former secretary stated.
