Video: Tax Will Be Imposed on Online and Individual Taxi Services
The National Assembly is discussing a new legislative proposal to impose a tax on online and individual taxi services. "Passenger transportation is one of the sectors that requires specific attention, as it concerns people's lives and health," said Babken Tunyan, the vice-chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Economic Issues. He added that in such a situation, the state should set certain conditions and requirements.
"The tax is set at 1.5-2% in the first year, which will gradually increase to 4% for non-cash transactions and 5% for cash payments," he stated. According to Tunyan, this burden is not too significant. More details can be found in the video.
