Next Meeting in 2024 in Turkey under the '3+3' Format, Lavrov Says
The next meeting of foreign ministers under the '3+3' format will take place in Turkey in the first half of 2024. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“Everything will be coordinated by our Turkish partners, who will host the second meeting of the ministers, which is tentatively scheduled for the first half of next year,” Lavrov told reporters.
It is worth noting that today, a meeting under the '3+3' format (without Georgia) took place in Tehran. The format includes participation from Russia, Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia. However, Tbilisi announced that it would not participate in the initiative.
