Deputy Mayors to Be Appointed at Urgent Meeting of Yerevan Council
An urgent meeting of the Yerevan Council will be held on October 26. This is reported by the Yerevan Municipality.
According to the announcement, 'Following Article 30, part 1 of the Law on Local Self-Government in Yerevan, and item 73 of the annex to the Yerevan Council's decision No. N1-Ν, dated June 18, 2009, under the decision No. 3380-A of the Mayor of Yerevan dated October 20, 2023: 1. An urgent meeting of the Yerevan Council of the Republic of Armenia will be convened on October 26, 2023, at 10:00.'
According to the agenda for the urgent meeting, the first deputy mayor will be appointed as Armen Pambukhchyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract party and former Minister of Emergency Situations, while the deputy mayors will be members of the Civil Contract party Levon Hovhannisyan, Suren Grigoryan, and Republic party member Sargis Madatyans.
