Tatever Cable Car Nominated for World’s Leading Cable Car Award
The Tatever cable car has once again been nominated for the prestigious World Travel Awards 2023 in the category of "World’s Leading Cable Car 2023." This information was announced by the press service of Impulse Business Management.
The Armenian cable car will compete against others from Bolivia, Brazil, Vietnam, Canada, New Zealand, the USA, and South Africa.
It is noteworthy that the project previously won this competition in 2021.
The Tatever cable car is the longest aerial tramway in the world, registered in the Guinness World Records not only for its length of 5,752 meters but also as the only engineering structure of its scale built in just 10 months.
On October 16, 2023, the Tatever cable car celebrated its 13th anniversary of operation. Since 2010, more than 1,300,000 people have utilized the cable car, contributing to the fact that one in every five tourists in Armenia visits Tatev.
