The Number of Those Arrested During Protest in Yerevan Reaches 142
The number of individuals arrested during the protest in Yerevan has reached 142. This information was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
“As of 10 AM, 142 participants of the protest have been taken to the police under Article 182 of the RA Civil Code,” the Ministry noted.
It is noteworthy that, as announced during yesterday's rally in Republic Square, protests have begun across the capital since early morning. Citizens are blocking streets in various parts of Yerevan to express their dissatisfaction and demand the resignation of the current authorities.
