Students to Volunteer in Support Programs for Displaced Persons from Artsakh
Students from higher education institutions in Armenia will be engaged as volunteers in programs aimed at supporting our compatriots displaced from Artsakh. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia (MoESCS).
The Ministry has sent a circular letter to the heads of higher educational institutions in Armenia, suggesting that they direct their efforts towards organizing assistance for the population of Artsakh.
Several universities have already begun recruiting students who are interested in participating in volunteer work, organizing activities ranging from assessing needs to providing necessary informational and other forms of support, as well as professional assistance.
The ministry has noted that the Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University has already joined the call.
