Earthquake in the Azerbaijani Sector of the Caspian Sea
An earthquake has struck the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. Sputnik Azerbaijan reports that the quake occurred at 02:51 local time, registering a magnitude of 4.6 at a depth of 62 kilometers.
Earlier, on September 8, another earthquake was recorded in the Caspian Sea with a magnitude of 3.2. The republican center of the seismological service affiliated with the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan announced that this quake also occurred at a depth of 62 kilometers.
