Conversation with Erdogan was substantive and beneficial: Pashinyan
During a public broadcast, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded to a question about his phone conversation today with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He described the call with Erdogan as substantive and beneficial.
“The conversation with Erdogan was substantive and useful. It is also important that there are various nuances, and there should be constant communication regarding these nuances, positions, and assessments,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
It is noted that today there was a phone conversation between Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The interlocutors addressed Armenia-Turkey relations and regional issues. During the conversation, the leaders of the two countries emphasized that achieving long-term peace and stability in the region would contribute to the development and prosperity of all countries in the region. The parties indicated that they would continue diplomatic efforts in this direction.
Earlier, it was reported that Erdogan announced that he would discuss the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh with Pashinyan on September 11.
