‘Saakashvili was buying gifts for his mistresses with the state budget’ - Kaladze
The General Secretary of the ruling "Georgian Dream" party, Kakha Kaladze, has assured that not a single lari from the state budget was spent for Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili's trip to the United States, as reported by Georgian media.
“We remember the years when such flights were carried out at the expense of the state budget during President Saakashvili's time. With the same funds, he was buying gifts for his mistresses, financing his son's education, and presenting it as if he had a talented child. I am confident that many people in this country have talented children, but that does not mean that an official should cover their family members' financial needs at the expense of the state budget,” he said.
