Kyiv Excludes the Pope's Mediation in Ukraine Conflict Resolution
Kyiv excludes the Vatican's mediation in the country's conflict resolution. This was stated by the advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak.
According to him, "there is no point in talking about the Pope as a mediator" if he "adopts a pro-Russian stance, which is completely obvious to everyone."
"The Vatican cannot have any mediating function, as it would be a function that deceives Ukraine or justice," he said.
According to Podolyak, Kyiv will not receive an "equitable assessment" from the Vatican regarding what is happening.
