Erdogan: "Transition to National Currencies Important in Moscow-Ankara Relations"
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized the significance of transitioning to national currencies in bilateral cooperation during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi today.
"I believe that the fact that the heads of our Central Banks will meet here today is important for taking steps towards transitioning to national currencies in our bilateral relations," said the Turkish president.
Erdogan added that there is a desire to reach a trade volume of $100 billion between the two countries, and Ankara and Moscow are moving towards that goal.
