Ukrainian Drone Shot Down Over Belgorod Region, Says Russian Defense Ministry

Kyiv has made another attempt to carry out an attack on Russian territory using a drone of the aircraft type, which was destroyed in the skies over the Belgorod region. This was reported to journalists by the Russian Defense Ministry, according to TASS.

“On September 2, at 12:45 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist act using an aircraft-type drone over Russian territory was thwarted. The Ukrainian drone was destroyed in the Belgorod region,” the ministry stated.

In the morning, two Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted in the Belgorod region. Earlier, the Governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that the Russian air defense system had shot down a drone near the village of Golovchino in Belgorod region.
