Deliberate Damage to Elevator Adapted for Underground Passage

Deliberate damage to community property carries accountability. This was stated by Khoren Grigoryan, the head of the Construction and Urban Development Department of Yerevan municipality.

“The elevator adapted for the underground passage adjacent to the ‘Closed Market’ has been deliberately damaged, and the rails have been pulled out. Since there are surveillance cameras in the nearby area, we will undoubtedly retrieve the footage and hand it over to the law enforcement authorities,” he wrote.

It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that the underground passage opposite the ‘Closed Market’ is already adapted for individuals with mobility issues.
