50,000 AMD Granted for Third and Subsequent Births in 2023 to Over 7,340 Children
In 2023 alone, 50,000 AMD support has been allocated for the birth of the third and subsequent children in over 7,340 families. Since the launch of the program, support has been granted for more than 17,000 third and subsequent children born in families. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
It is worth reminding that the assistance is provided until the child turns 6 years old. It is allocated under the following conditions:
- The child was born on or after January 1, 2022;
- The parent applying for the assistance is a citizen of the Republic of Armenia;
- As of the date of application, the parent and the newborn are in the Republic of Armenia;
- As of the date of application, the parent, the newborn, and any siblings considered in determining the number of the child are registered in the state population registry of the Republic of Armenia.
