Iran Tightens Hijab Enforcement Regulations
The Iranian parliamentary commission has approved the intensification of penalties for violating hijab laws.
The bill consists of 70 articles. Women who refuse to wear the hijab will face larger fines and longer prison sentences. New strict punishments will be imposed on public figures and companies that violate the laws, and artificial intelligence will also be utilized to identify those who breach the dress code.
