High Dust Concentration Observed in Yerevan's Atmospheric Air Due to Dust Storm
On August 18 and 19, high dust concentration was observed in Yerevan's atmospheric air due to a dust storm. This information was reported on the Facebook page of the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.
Data on the air quality in Yerevan for the period of August 17-20, 2023, has been presented. According to this data, dust levels exceeded the permissible concentration limits in the Kentron administrative district and Shengavit from August 18 to 20, and in Arabkir and Nor Nork on August 18 and 19.
Meanwhile, the levels of nitrogen and sulfur dioxide did not exceed the permissible concentration limits.
