Ceasefire Violation Recorded in Martuni Region: Russian Ministry of Defense

A ceasefire violation has been recorded in the Martuni region of Nagorno-Karabakh. This is stated in a report by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“One ceasefire violation has been recorded in the Martuni region. There are no casualties,” the message states.

It is noted that, in connection with the incident, the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces is conducting an investigation in collaboration with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides.

The report also mentioned that Russian peacekeepers have conducted patrols along three routes in the Martakert and Martuni regions, as well as in the Lachin corridor.

Additionally, it was reported the day before that Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire near the village of Sarushen in the Askeran region.
