Russia's Defense Ministry Addresses Odesa Night Shelling

The information disseminated by Ukrainian authorities regarding the destruction of the Odesa Cathedral by Russian precision weapons does not correspond to reality, reports the Russian Defense Ministry.

"All objects designated for destruction and eliminated on the night of July 23 of this year, where the Kyiv regime was preparing terrorist acts against the Russian Federation together with foreign specialists, were located at a safe distance from the cathedral complex," stated the ministry.

As clarified by the Russian Defense Ministry, the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces led to the damage of the cathedral.

It should be noted that reports have emerged regarding Russian strikes on Odesa.
