Putin Informs Lukashenko That Ukraine's Counteroffensive Has Failed
Russian President Vladimir Putin has informed his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko during talks that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (UAF) counteroffensive has failed.
"There is no counteroffensive," Lukashenko stated. In response, Putin remarked, "There is, but it has failed."
The meeting between the two leaders took place at the Konstantin Palace located in the outskirts of St. Petersburg.
Lukashenko arrived in Russia the previous night. They are expected to discuss the further development of Russian-Belarusian strategic partnership and allied relations, as well as current issues of integration cooperation within the framework of the Union State.
