Newborn Pulled by Dogs to Backyard of Local Resident: Details
A newborn boy left in a bag near a chapel was pulled by dogs to the backyard of a local resident's house. In an interview with ArmeniaSputnik, the village's administrative head Ruben Zuloyan reported that a resident saw a group of dogs in the backyard around 10:30 AM, removed them from the area, and then noticed a yellow bag containing the baby, prompting her to call the police.
It is believed that the baby was initially left at the chapel and was subsequently dragged by the dogs to the nearby house. According to the village mayor, the dogs did not harm the newborn, although the bag was slightly torn in the process.
Earlier, it was reported that around 11:50 AM, operational information was received at the Martuni division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia regarding the presence of a newborn baby in the 'Holy Tomb' neighborhood of the Nerqin Getashen village, adjacent to the chapel.
