Lawyer: 'The 25,000 Dram Fine for Tinted Windows Has Been Revoked'

Lawyer Vahe Grigoryan announced on his Facebook page: 'The first victory against fines imposed for vehicle window tinting (commonly known as плёнка). On June 11, 2023, the Police Patrol Service issued a fine of 25,000 AMD to Aram Manukyan, as his vehicle was found to be operating with windows that violated the established transparency limits.'

'I filed a complaint against that decision, which was sent to the Patrol Service on June 12, 2023. Today, I received a decision from the Patrol Service dated July 12, 2023, stating that our demand has been satisfied, the fine has been revoked, and the case has been terminated. In simple terms, the decision to impose a fine has been canceled.'
