Teenager Dies from Lightning Strike in Russia
A 16-year-old teenager has died from a lightning strike in Novosibirsk, and another child is currently in the hospital. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk region.
"Investigators have determined that on July 13, two minors took shelter under a tree during a thunderstorm in a forested area near the village of Aleksandrovka. Later, the body of the 16-year-old was found, showing signs of electrocution, while a 13-year-old boy who was with him was taken to the hospital with similar injuries," the report stated.
An investigation is underway regarding the circumstances of the minor's death, and necessary examinations have been ordered.
