Video: Technical Assignment for New Metro Station in Surmalu Area is Ready

The technical assignment for the construction of a new metro station in the Surmalu area is ready. This was announced by Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Stepan Machinyan.

In response to Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan's question, he also stated that the timeline for the design of this metro station will be shorter.

Machinyan also presented the progress of the construction works for the Ajapnyak station. Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan mentioned that the design work is expected to be completed by the end of this year, and construction work will commence next year. “For the first time, apart from discussions, we will have a project by the end of this year, which will allow us to initiate a construction competition, and there is sufficient funding for that,” he noted.
